Just in case you haven’t been caught by S.H.I.E.L.D. Fever yet, this new promo showcasing some of the drama that viewers can expect from the show should do the trick. Outlander Recruits New Blood
STARZ, in association with Sony Pictures Television, has announced that Graham McTavish and Gary Lewis have joined the cast of the new STARZ original series Outlander. The news follows the recent addition of Sam Heughan to the cast, and the recruitment of the Scotsmen should lend to the show’s authenticity. The series, based on the Diana Gabaldon’s novels, finds a combat nurse from 1945 who mysteriously finds herself thrown back in time to 1743. The series is said to span across many genres, including romance, science fiction, history and adventure, and will be based in Scotland. Outlander begins filming in Scotland in the fall and the show is set to premiere on STARZ in 2014.
Arrow casts Cynthia Addai-Robinson as Amanda Waller
It was announced last week that DC Comics villain Amanda Waller would be joining the second season of Arrow and now it looks like fans can put a new face on the character.
TV Guide is reporting that Spartacus alum Cynthia Addai-Robinson has snagged the gig on the hit CW show.
It appears that the series writers will keep fairly close to the source material for her character, and fans will even see the Suicide Squad make their television debut.
Season 2 of Arrow will premiere on October 9th on the CW.
AMC’s The Walking Dead Creeps Closer
AMC’s breakout hit The Walking Dead will get back to its weekly hour of scares and drama on October 13th and as it draws closer, fans’ anticipation for the return continues to grow.
While this recently released poster doesn’t give fans much to be excited about it, one detail that is particularly important is that the prison fence has now been torn down, revealing to audiences that the safety of the prison walls is no longer guaranteed.
In addition to the poster, AMC has also released the following video of series creator Robert Kirkman as he gives fans a tour of the Season 4 set, including new additions to the prison. While it may not give much away in terms of what to expect from the upcoming season, it does give fans plenty of information to start formulating their own ideas.
