Get Psyched On It! Joey Esposito Kickstarting More ‘Footprints’ – Donate Today!

Welcome to Get Psyched On It! This is the stuff we’re psyched about and why we you think should be, too!

In 2011, Joey Esposito (Captain Ultimate) and Jonathan Moore published Footprints Vol. 1 through a Kickstarter campaign. The story fused hard-boiled mystery with characters from urban legend like Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster. Now the creative duo plans to revisit their critically acclaimed story in a 24-page, full-color one-shot comic titled Footprints: Bad Luck Charm.

Their goal with this new Kickstarter is to raise a little over $4,000 in the next month. The one-shot comic will dive into two different time frames that act as bookends to the original volume of work.

Esposito and Moore clearly feel passionate about the work and supply their contributors with a six-page preview (check out the first page below) of what they are working on, along with several contribution incentive packages. These packages range from an acknowledgment in the Thank You section of the upcoming comic to an opportunity to join Esposito on his podcast, Assemble After Dark. There are also multiple opportunities to receive digitally copies of both the first volume of Footprints and the new work once it is completed.

Read the first issue of Footprints for free here, or pick up the trade paperback at Amazon or Comixology, OR pledge at least $15 or more to the Kickstarter campaign and receive a copy of Footprints Vol. 1.

As Footprints Vol. 1 has quietly received high praise for its originality, Esposito’s and Moore’s passion for their creation make Footprints: Bad Luck Charm a project to truly get psyched about.
