  • The first trailer for NBC‘s Constantine has dropped and it looks bloody brilliant! If you like what you see in the trailer, check out the first clip from the series based on DC Comic’s Hellblazer (via Coming Soon).


  • Continuing the trend of comic book properties making their way to television, Marvel‘s Agent Carter is heading to ABC. Check out the first promotional image (above), and the series’ official synopsis (via /Film).
  • Also on its way from Marvel is their Daredevil series for Netflix, part of a multi-project deal for several series culminating in a crossover event, The Fearless Defenders. Marvel’s chief creative officer, Joe Quesada has confirmed that Daredevil’s first season consisting of 13 episodes has been planned out “as a very large movie” (via Comic Book Resources)
  • Batman vs. Superman director, Zack Snyder tweeted a teaser today, seeming to imply we should expect the full reveal of cinema’s latest Batmobile tomorrow.


  • Fox‘s new series set in a Batman-less Gotham chronicling the early days of Jim Gordon will air Mondays at 8pm EST. They’ve also released new Gotham photos and character images (via Coming Soon).
  • Three new characters have been promoted to series regulars as well – Edward Nygma/The Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), Renee Montoya (Victoria Cartagena), and Crispus Allen (Andrew Stewart-Jones) (via The Hollywood Reporter).
  • While all these forthcoming TV shows looks awesome, everyone’s sad Community was canceled. Creator Dan Harmon has finally commented on the show’s cancellation and gives (some) hope for its future.

  • The first trailer for Fox‘s Gracepoint, a remake of ITV’s Broachurch, has released. David Tennant is reprising his role from as the lead detective investigating a young boy’s murder in a small, coastal town (via Nerdist).
  • The cast for Star Wars: Episode VII has been finally, officially revealed–but that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill! The latest rumor claims to know who Adam Driver is playing, and a Sith Lord he is not–maybe (via Blastr).
  • Here’s who won’t be in Episode VII: Wedge Antilles (Dennis Lawson), and here’s why (via Badass Digest).
  • Arrow showrunner, Marc Guggenheim is taking over for Brian Wood on X-Men. No artist has yet been announced, but Guggenheim’s run begins with X-Men #18. And yes, the core team is remaining all women. (via IGN).


  • DC Comics latest incentive covers feature the ladies of DC as classic pin up girls. The Bombshell line is already popular with statues, perhaps a series is on its way? A la Ame-Comi Girls? Check out the whole line-up of covers (via The Mary Sue).
