Are you ready to return to Thunderdome? If so, San Diego Comic-Con will be the first place you’ll be able to get a taste of director/writer George Miller’s latest entry in his Mad Max saga with Mad Max: Fury Road. According to the July 4th issue of Entertainment Weekly – whose cover proudly displays the stars of the new movie, Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron -Miller will debut footage at the convention with a teaser trailer to follow.
George Miller has the distinct honor of helming and writing every movie in the Mad Max franchise, which has enabled the series to have a cohesive story spanning across three films: Mad Max, The Road Warrior, and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. While Fury Road, the fourth entry in the series, has had its share of problems during development, fans can rest assured knowing that Miller’s vision will once again add to the mythology of Mad Max. Not to mention giving audiences a balls to the wall action-drama!
