Here at Kaboooooom we live and breathe comic books, but if you’re new to the game or just don’t frequent the local comic shop it can be hard to know where to start. For that, we’re here to help. Every week we’ll share with you our recommendations for what you should checking out and what you need to know before you crack that cover – it’s Kabooooom’s Pull List!

Pull List:
Batman and Robin #33, Wonder Woman #33, Saga #21, Deadpool vs. X-Force #2, Guardians of the Galaxy #17, Original Sin #5.2
This Week’s Must Read: Batman #33

I’m not ashamed to say that I love Scott Snyder.  His story lines are daring, exciting, and unexpected.  I have enjoyed every issue of Zero Year, and am really looking forward to how Snyder wraps it up. It has seemed like The Riddler has been one step ahead of Bruce the entire arc and knowing Snyder there are bound to be a few more surprises to come.

Matt Morrison, Writer
Pull List: All New Invaders #8, Batman #33, Conan The Avenger #4, Groo Vs. Conan #1, Injustice: Gods Among Us Year Two #8, Doctor Who: The Eleventh Doctor #1, Superman #33
This Week’s Must Read: Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor #1

As I noted in my preview/review last week, this new Tenth Doctor comic feels just like a lost episode of the David Tennant era of the show.  The script by Nick Abadzis perfectly captures the spirit of Doctor Who and the art by Elena Casagrande is just fantastic!  The best part about the comic, in my opinion, is that it is easily accessible to comic fans who have never seen the show before as well as fans of the show who have new read a comic before. Everyone should give this book a look-see.

Pull List: Saga #21, Trees #3, Archer and Armstrong #22, Tuki Save the Humans #1, Midas Flesh #8, Batman #33, Superman #33, Transformers vs. GI Joe #1
This Week’s Must Read: Ragnarok #1

The mighty Walt Simonson returns to the world of Norse mythology this week in IDW’s Ragnarok #1. Nobody crafts tales of warriors, gods, and monsters better than Simonson, whose distinctive artwork is legendary. Ragnarok looks to be the perfect showcase for Simonson’s graphic storytelling and marks an exciting companion piece / follow-up to his famous Thor run.
