Do I enjoy this comic merely because its existence annoys so many who like the Marvel Universe being a somber place where heroes fight heroes when they aren’t angsting over their powers? No, but that sure does help! You can keep your Civil War sequels and whatever event comic has two different hero teams fighting this year. Give me the fun, cartoony comic that devotes an entire issue to its hero getting a new costume that lets her fly. Yes – Flying Squirrel Girl. That is now a thing.

Brandon Griffin

This Week’s Must Read: Justice League Of America Rebirth #1 [Review]

Following the surprisingly great Justice League VS Suicide Squad crossover, Batman has decided to form his own Justice League. The lineup alone warrants a read — with Lobo, Killer Frost, Atom, The Ray, Vixen, and Black Canary joining Batman’s team. Writer Steve Orlando has had a hand in a lot of the DC events thus far, and he’ll most likely make this another epic worth paying attention to. Also the Justice League title itself has been pretty weak recently, so hopefully this either fills the void or is so good it forces the main JL book to step up.

Buy these comics at your local comic book store (Don’t know where that is? Here you go.), from Things From Another Universe, or digitally via Comixology.com.
