As a whole, Jessica Jones has been an enjoyable run. This issue doesn’t particularly hit the ceiling readers were hoping for, but it certainly maintains the floor.
Capping off with Doctor Strange #10, Jason Aaron’s run on the series has had twists and turns accompanied by breathtaking art, making it a fun, easy read for both dedicated fans and new readers.
I felt a void when Marjorie Liu’s X-23 was canceled back in 2011. Marvel then placated the masses by using Laura Kinney as a part of various ensemble books like Avengers Arena and All-New X-Men. Although accurate, the name of the book is terrible and uninspired, but it won’t be enough to keep readers away from diving in. As Marvel turns towards its new era of diverse heroes, this series should serve […]
Post-apocalyptic stories where all but a handful of your favorite heroes are dead is a setting that has been around forever in comics. It’s a setting that, when done properly, can easily become a reader’s favorite. Marvel’s previous visit with the gray haired and broken Wolverine was a welcomed one and Old Man Logan #1 […]
Though both are under the Original Sin banner, Mighty Avengers #11 takes a decidedly different path from #10. The former was a wrap of the previous arc, whereas Mighty Avengers’ new storyline begins here. Luke Cage is back in the spotlight and confronts his father James, a retired NYPD detective, over a huge secret from […]
