The first WhoFestDFW was held in Dallas on the weekend of the show’s 50th Anniversary. Since then, WhoFestDFW has been an annual family-friendly event with activities for Doctor Who fans of all-ages. This year boasted appearances by Fifth Doctor Peter Davison, Mark Strickson (who played Fifth Doctor companion Turlough) and Dan Starkey, who played the Sontaran Strax in several New Who episodes.
