Dahlia Racers is a master of disguise and an adrenaline junkie. To the world at large, she’s a stage magician. In secret, however, she makes her real living helping people disappear. If you need to escape a bad situation, Dahlia will help you go into hiding, fake your death, and start a new life.

Dahlia’s latest mission seemed simple enough; help a scientist relocate his daughter, after she’s threatened with kidnapping. It was complicated, however, by the appearance of a strange woman who seems unable to feel heat, cold, pain or fatigue. This new adversary is apparently tied into the scientist’s research and a new biological weapon that could kill millions.

Fans of the Gun Honey series and the first Heat Seeker will find more of the same epic action in Heat Seeker: Combustion. Charles Ardai continues to write an epic ripping-yarn and  Ace Continuado’s art continues to shine. The only downside is that familiarity with the series so far is a must, as the comic opens in the middle of the action, with no effort made to introduce Dahlia or her assistants. Still fans of the franchise and high-octane action won’t want to miss this!
