The good news is Steven has a way out. The bad news is it involves killing a producer on behalf of the mobster who Steven owes money. A producer who does things to young women that even the Mob finds distasteful. Particularly when the young woman in question is the mobster’s daughter.

The Loose End #1 is a delightful throwback to the crime dramadies of the 1990s. If you had told me this was a lost Quentin Tarantino script adapted for comics, I’d be inclined to believe it. Dave Dwonch’s script shows true wit and the artwork by Travis Hymel captures the mood of the setting well. This is a must-read for all true-crime fans.
