The 19th Annual Texas Frightmare Weekend was an event to behold. Renowned as the biggest horror-themed convention held in the American Southwest, it boasted an impressive line-up of legendary actors, directors and creators. This included both rising stars like Cole Sprouse and living legends like Sibyl Danning. It also included sizeable reunions of the casts of many famous franchises, including Terrifier, Re-Animator, An American Werewolf in London, and The Evil Dead. However, the biggest guest of honor was undoubtedly Bruce “Ash” Campbell, whose photo-ops sold out roughly an hour after going on sale.

Indeed, there were so many cosplayers who chose to make Ashes of themselves (including KabOOOOOm.com’s own Michael E. Ryan) we had to highlight them all with this special sub-gallery.

This is not to diminish the craft and daring of the many great cosplayers who were not cosplaying some variant of Sir Ashley Williams. Their pictures are profiled below.
