AnimeFest is an annually-run festival held in Dallas, Texas.  It is also the name of the non-profit educational group which has organized the festival every year since 1992.  The intent of AnimeFest is to educate the public about animation, art, and other forms of traditional and popular culture and art.

Contributing Editor Matt Morrison was there taking photographs of all the different cosplayers in attendance and capturing special events like the Cosplay Contest and the Cosplay Chess game.
