AnimeFest is an annually-run festival held in Dallas, Texas.  It is also the name of the non-profit educational group which has organized the festival every year since 1992.  The intent of AnimeFest is to educate the public about animation, art, and other forms of traditional and popular culture and art.

Our own Matt Morrison was in attendance for the first day of the four day festival, taking part in the Confidence in Cosplay Panel organized by Superheroesque and taking photographs of all the different cosplayers.
