This mini-series has improved with every issue and the last one ended with one hell of a cliffhanger. Paul Cornell and Neil Edwards are both in top form and I think the collected edition of this series may go down in history as the finest thing either of them have ever worked on. That says a lot given their respective bodies of work!

Hickman may be taking his time with this series (you know he doesn’t have anything else on his plate right now…), but I was hooked for the first two issues. There’s everything one could want here: some mystery, some crime drama, and a little bit of sci-fi.
