This Week’s Must Read: Conan The Slayer #1 [Review]
What more can I say that I didn’t say in my advance review of this book? This book is sword-and-sorcery done right and easily the best monthly Conan comic since Roy Thomas’ Conan: Road of Kings. Even if you aren’t a fan of low fantasy, I’d encourage you to give this issue a look-see. No previous experience with Conan is necessary.

This Week’s Must Read: Image Firsts: Paper Girls # 1 (Reissue)
From the writer of Saga, The Runaways, Y: The Last Man, and a load of other genre defining works, Brian K. Vaughn delivers yet another series – Paper Girls. A group of cigarette smoking, denim jacket-wearing teens get much more than they bargained for on a simple paper route when they are intercepted by what could be aliens – or perhaps, something even more ominous from the future. Couple that description with DC artist Cliff Chiang’s stunning artwork and color and Paper Girls becomes an absolute must read. Currently, Paper Girls is on its seventh issue, but there is still time to catch up if it hasn’t found its way to your doorstep! Out this week is Image Firsts’ Paper Girls, a re-release of the gripping first issue, and the best part is it’s only a dollar!
