Here at Kaboooooom we love our comic books, but if you’re new to the game or just don’t frequent the local comic shop, it can be hard to know where to start. For that, we’re here to help. Every week we’ll share with you our recommendations for what you should be checking out and what you need to know before you crack that cover – it’s Kabooooom’s Pull List!
Sarah Moran
Pull List: Bounty #2 (of 10), Aquaman #4, Green Arrow #4, The Walking Dead #157, Jughead #8
This Week’s Must Read: Harley Quinn #1
Is it a cop-out for me to choose Harley Quinn as my must read two weeks in a row? Sure, but only as much as it is for DC Comics to release the final issue of her New 52 series the week before launching her Rebirth series. And with Suicide Squad opening this week and Harley Quinn on the verge of becoming even more popular than she already is, let’s all just bask in corporate synergy at work, shall we?
As I said last week, Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti have done wonders for Harls, moving her away from Gotham to Coney Island, creating a cast of colorful characters for her to interact with and care for, further developing her relationship with Poison Ivy, and, most importantly, allow Harley to emphatically move on from the Joker. It’s been a great ride thus far and I cannot wait to keep tagging along for more of Harley’s wacky adventures. (Plus, that cover is to die for!)

Pull List: Aquaman #4, Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year Five #33 (Digital Edition)
This Week’s Must Read: Green Arrow #4 [Review]
At this point, I think I can safely say that I am satisfied with the new Green Arrow series and its treatment of both Green Arrow and Black Canary. Let the word be carried forth! Let the beacons be lit and the heralds summoned, for the Internet’s most unsatisfied Green Arrow and Black Canary fan has been appeased! Let honor and glory be heaped upon Benjamin Percy and Juan Ferreyra for this accomplishment!
