Here at Kaboooooom we love our comic books, but if you’re new to the game or just don’t frequent the local comic shop, it can be hard to know where to start. For that, we’re here to help. Every week we’ll share with you our recommendations for what you should be checking out and what you need to know before you crack that cover – it’s The Pull List!

The world of the Amazing Amazon expands in a collection of short stories that take Wonder Woman around the globe! In the days after “Year One,” Diana comes face-to-face with Superman and Batman for the first time, as illustrated by “Year One” artist Nicola Scott…and years later, Liam Sharp brings you the story of how their friendship has evolved!

Wonder Woman is finally having her moment. In a matter of days, her first ever feature film will release and already its garnered many glowing reviews. Her comic, too, has been stellar as of late, with last week’s issue ending an impressive arc on a beat that is just peak Diana — that is to say, remaining full of love and compassion for her enemy. In this week’s Wonder Woman Annual #1, we’ll see how she first met Batman and Superman as well as how their relationships have grown over the years. (Maybe she’ll give them some tips for winning over movie critics?)

This Week’s Must Read: The Flash #23 [Review]

“RUNNING SCARED” prelude! Barry Allen is at a crossroads. He’s lied to the woman he loves about his life as The Flash, and a rift is growing between him and his heroic young partner.
Now, his greatest enemy has threatened to strike down everyone close to him! It’s time to make a tough choice that will launch The Flash into his most incredible mission yet: a siege on the 25th century stronghold of Eobard Thawne!

It’s a light week for me this week and in the wake of last week’s season finale of The Flash and the end of “The Button”, I find myself looking forward to a new beginning in this issue. Regular artist Carmine Di Giandomenico returns for this story which sees Barry plotting how to attack his arch enemy, Eobard Thawne at this home base in the 25th century.

Buy these comics at your local comic book store (Don’t know where that is? Here you go.), from Things From Another Universe, or digitally via Comixology.com.
