Women of Wonder Con is a new annual event devoted to establishing a venue for women in creative industries of all types, that will encourage new generations to follow in their footsteps. The event offers opportunities for networking, education, and encourages women and girls in a variety of fields.
This year’s Keynote Speaker was Caitlin Dechelle – Gal Godot’s stunt double on Wonder Woman. The event also included panels by actress and acting coach Lar Park Lincoln and reporter Alisha Ebrahimji. Art-themed workshops were organized by Sketch Dojo, Wilde Designs and Songbird Beauty Pixel Art. The closing event was a gathering of cosplayers attempting to set the Guinness’ Book World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as superheroines.
