A-KON is the longest-running convention devoted towards anime and Japanese Culture in North America. Despite this, it has grown to encompass multiple fandoms, such as video games, science fiction and American comics. Continuously held in Dallas for the 27 years, A-KON moved to Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Convention Center last year.

With events including autograph sessions, professional Q&A sessions, costumed balls, film screenings, video game tournaments and LARP demonstrations spanning three hotels along with the convention center itself and Fort Worth’s famous Water Gardens as a locale for cosplay meet-ups, this was easily the biggest A-KON yet!
