The Pull List, 6.1.16

Here at Kaboooooom we love our comic books, but if you’re new to the game or just don’t frequent the local comic shop, it can be hard to know where to start. For that, we’re here to help. Every week we’ll share with you our recommendations for what you should be checking out and what you need to know before you crack that cover – it’s Kabooooom’s Pull List!

Pull List: DC Comics Bombshells #14, Green Arrow Rebirth #1, The Walking Dead #155, A-Force #6, Civil War II #1 [Review]
This Week’s Must Read: Batman Rebirth #1

batman rebirth 1 cvrAnd so begins the steady influx of Rebirth titles following last week’s DC Universe Rebirth. I expect there will be many on my pull throughout the year, but it feels right kicking things off with Batman – my forever and always favorite superhero. Scott Snyder’s run on Batman during the New 52 was spectacular and I’m sad to see him leave, but I’m very happy he’s teaming with new Batman writer, Tom King for this Rebirth issue. Depending on how I find this issue, I may add the series to my pull once again. And if not, well, there’s Snyder’s All-Star Batman later this year.

Pull List: Adventures of Supergirl #10 (Digital Edition), All-New Wolverine # 9, Arrow: The Dark Archer #11 (Digital Edition), Batman Rebirth #1, Doctor Who: The Fourth Doctor #3, Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year Five #24 (Digital Edition)
This Week’s Must Read: Green Arrow Rebirth #1 [Review]

green arrow rebirth 1 cvrAs a die-hard Green Arrow and Black Canary fan, of course I’m interested in seeing this book. I have a lot of concerns about this title but I’ll save any mention of them for my upcoming review. Both characters have suffered greatly in the New 52 and I’ll welcome anything that can restore them to their former glory. Hopefully this book will follow in the footsteps of Mike Grell’s Green Arrow and accomplish that goal.

Buy these comics at your local comic book store (Don’t know where that is? Here you go.), from Things From Another Universe, or digitally via Comixology.com.
