AnimeFest is an annually-run festival held in Dallas, Texas.  It is also the name of the non-profit educational group which has organized the festival every year since 1992.  The intent of AnimeFest is to educate the public about animation, art, and other forms of traditional and popular culture and art.

This year was a special year, as it marked the first time that AnimeFest commandeered the historic Majestic Theater for their cosplay contest. Our own Matt Morrison was in attendance on Saturday and Sunday, taking photographs of all the different cosplayers in attendance.
