Here at Kaboooooom we love our comic books, but if you’re new to the game or just don’t frequent the local comic shop, it can be hard to know where to start. For that, we’re here to help. Every week we’ll share with you our recommendations for what you should be checking out and what you need to know before you crack that cover – it’s The Pull List!

Pull List: Detective Comics #947, Future Quest #8, Wonder Woman #13, Star Wars #26
This Week’s Must Read: Love is Love
The massacre earlier this year at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando was one of the worst tragedies this country has seen. To celebrate and honor those victims, IDW and DC Comics teamed up for this commemorative comic – Love is Love. With work from the industry’s very best and featuring many popular characters, all the proceeds from Love is Love goes back to the victims, survivors, and their families, making this an easy pick on so many levels. This Week’s Must Read: Supergirl: Being Super #1 [Review]
A little over a year ago, I lamented that there wasn’t a good Supergirl comic for teen and tween audiences at a time when interest in the character had been renewed thanks to the new television series. By all appearances, this new series will be just what the teen librarian ordered. With a script by Eisner-winner Mariko Tamaki and art by Eisner-nominee Joëlle Jones, I expect this mini-series will be absolutely super!
