Here at Kaboooooom we love our comic books, but if you’re new to the game or just don’t frequent the local comic shop, it can be hard to know where to start. For that, we’re here to help. Every week we’ll share with you our recommendations for what you should be checking out and what you need to know before you crack that cover – it’s The Pull List!

This Week’s Must Read: Harley Quinn 25th Anniversary Special #1

Is anyone shocked this book is my must read of the week? Harley Quinn is one of my all time favorite characters and honestly, I’m flabbergasted it’s been 25 years since she first debuted. Where has the time gone?!? I don’t know, but Harls has sure made good use of it, quickly rising to very top of DC Comics’ cavalcade of characters. Here’s to another 25 years, Harley! Let’s hope they see your character continue to grow with no poorly written relapses or retcons.

Pull List: Batgirl and the Birds of Prey #14 [Review], Dark Knights: Metal #2, Detective Comics #964, Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor: Year Three #9, The Flash #30, Injustice 2 #23 (Digital Edition), Realm #1, Retcon #1 [Review], Sheena #1 [Review], Titans #15
This Week’s Must Read: Teen Titans #12 [Review]

My loathing for Damian Wayne is such that I haven’t read Teen Titans, despite liking Benjamin Percy’s writing on Green Arrow. Given that this book is a Dark Knights Metal tie-in coupled with Damian recruiting a team of characters I do like (Green Arrow, Black Canary and Harley Quinn among them) fighting one of my favorite villains, I figure there’s no better time to give this book a try.
