The Kabooooom Pull List, 11.26.14

Here at Kaboooooom we live and breathe comic books, but if you’re new to the game or just don’t frequent the local comic shop it can be hard to know where to start. For that, we’re here to help. Every week we’ll share with you our recommendations for what you should checking out and what you need to know before you crack that cover – it’s Kabooooom’s Pull List!

This Week’s Must Read: Bee and Puppycat #6

It’s another really light week for me with only two books in my Pull List. Of the two I’m picking up, I recommend grabbing Bee and Puppycat #6, and for no other reason than this series created by Natasha Allegri (Adventure Time, Fionna and Cake) is that perfect blend of cute and kick-ass. Originally, Bee and Puppycat began as an animated short on the YouTube channel, Cartoon Hangover. After gaining massive popularity, the short was turned into a comic book series from Kaboom Studios, much like Cartoon Hangover’s other popular ‘toon, Bravest Warriors. Bee and Puppycat’s first-ever cartoon series has just began, so I see no reason not to start following their printed adventures, too!

Pull List: All New Invaders #12, Arrow: Season 2.5 #7 (Digital), Earth 2: World’s End #8, ODYC #1, Red Sonja: Black Tower #3, Sally Of The Wasteland #5, Superman #36
This Week’s Must Read: Injustice: Gods Among Us – Year Three #9 (Digital)

Last week’s issue ended with John Constantine’s plan to stop Superman going pear-shaped, as John’s plans tend to do.  Left without allies and staring down two Sinestero Corps members, a manifestation of the Wrath of God, and a Superman with a fear-powered ring who is mad enough to curse – can Constantine talk his way out of this mess?  I’m not sure. But I think it will be fun and funny watching him try.

Buy these comics at your local comic book store (Don’t know where that is? Here you go.) or digitally via Comixology.com.
